Work that means something — and pays like it
The daycares and preschools you'll teach in, the pay you'll earn, the people you'll belong to, and the reason behind all of it.
Real daycares. Real preschools. Real children.
We started teaching in daycares and preschools over a decade ago — before the studio even existed — bringing kids yoga and mindfulness into the places children learn and grow.
Today, Yoga@Play works with a growing network of 30+ preschools and daycares across the Main Line, Philadelphia, and beyond — with more schools continuing to open their doors to our programs.
And that's important. When you train with us, you're not learning a program created in a training manual — you're learning an approach shaped by years of teaching real children in real classrooms.
As our school partnerships grow, so does the need for compassionate, well-trained teachers who know how to create spaces where children feel seen, safe and more confident.
Do work you love. Build a life you love.
Meaningful work. Great pay. A flexible schedule that leaves room for your own self-care and your life. And you're never doing it alone — you'll have mentorship, support, and a community of like-minded teachers beside you. Make an impact without losing yourself in the process.
We pay above average
Because meaningful work deserves to be valued. Our teachers earn strong, competitive pay for work that creates real impact — with the flexibility to teach at a pace that fits their life.
As much — or as little — as you wish
Some of our teachers teach two classes a week around a job or a family; others build a full teaching schedule. You set the amount. We respect it.
We fill your schedule
You don't chase gigs. Preschools and daycares across the Main Line and beyond come to us, and we work to fill your schedule with as much teaching as you want.
We'll talk real numbers together during your mentorship — openly, like everything else here.
Why we do this
Yoga@Play began in classrooms, not in a studio. Over a decade ago, Ofrit walked into her first preschool with a mat and a conviction: that breath, movement and play can give children something no test measures — calm they can find on their own, courage that stays after class, and the certainty that they are enough exactly as they are.
That is what you'll actually be teaching. The poses are the doorway; confidence is the curriculum. When you become a Yoga@Play teacher, you're not filling a slot in a schedule — you're becoming the adult a child remembers.

What it feels like to teach here
Yoga@Play is a small team that runs on warmth. The way we treat children is the way we treat each other.
Nobody teaches alone
There's always someone beside you — in your first classes and in your hundredth. Questions get answered, hard days get shared, wins get celebrated.
We play, on purpose
Laughter in class isn't a break from the method — it is the method. If you love being silly with a purpose, you'll fit right in.
Calm is taught, not demanded
We give children tools — breath, movement, stillness — instead of orders. Our teachers get the same patience we give our kids.
You are enough — teachers too
The message we give every child applies to you. You grow at your own pace here, and you're never expected to be anyone but yourself.
Quarterly staff bonding
Four times a year, the whole team steps off the mat together — food, laughter, and time to just be with each other.
A professional chef on staff
Yes, really — our chef helps create the food and recipes we share as a team. We take care of our people, not just our programs.
How it works, working here
How much does teaching with Yoga@Play pay?
We believe in talking openly about money. This isn't a traditional full-time job — most teachers build a schedule that fits their life through a mix of weekly classes, preschool programs, birthday parties, workshops, and special events.
We're transparent about what each opportunity pays, and during mentorship, we'll sit down with you and do the math together. What do you want to earn? How much do you want to work? What combination makes sense for your life?
You bring the financial goal. We help you build a realistic path toward it — without sacrificing the flexibility and self-care that brought you to this work in the first place.
How many classes will I actually get?
As many — or as few — as you want. Some teachers take a couple of classes a week around another job or their family; others build a full teaching schedule. Tell us what you're looking for, and we work to fill your schedule from our network of 30+ preschools and daycares and our studio.
Do I choose my own schedule?
You do. Tell us how much you want to teach and when you're available, and we match you with classes that fit. You can scale up or down as your life changes — the schedule serves you, not the other way around.
Where will I be teaching?
In preschools, daycares, elementary schools, libraries, camps and community programs across the Main Line and Philadelphia — and at our Penn Valley aerial yoga studio. And we love reaching out to daycares in your own area, so you can deliver our program there.
How do I start?
The path has two steps before teaching: the weekend-long Teacher Training Academy($895, certification included), then the Graduate Mentorship — real classes with Ofrit or another Yoga@Play Lead Teacher beside you.
Come teach with us.
Over a decade of teaching children they are enough — and room beside us for you.
